#1: Mark asks Cafth:
I have kind of a technical question for Cafth.
As you may know, mitochondria are the little energy factories in every cell in a human body http://cellbio.utmb.edu/cellbio/mitoch1.htm
They also have their own dna and a reproductive cycle which is entirely distinct from the cell
they are part of.
I read somewhere that human cells didn't originally have mitochondria and that they captured
/ adopted / enslaved the previously free mitochondria in the cell's early stages of development and / or evolution.
I was wondering if Cafth can confirm or deny this and / or provide any related information.
Thank you very much
Cafth: I am sorry...but you are asking the wrong alien. I'm a spirtitual being, not a scientific
one. I can help with some things, but not all...sorry.
But speaking of human DNA, the human body does evolve, and it continues to adapt to its surroundings.
So it should be no surprise that it has changed, as for alien beings perhaps interferring, I know I am not allowed to do such
things.
Heidi: Yea...Cafth sometimes gets of this sort and he truly cannot answer them because he was
assigned to pretty stick to what he is working on only. Which is what he said, spiritual matters...sorry but I hope this helped.
#2: Dan D. asks Cafth:
Can Cafth laugh? If he does then we've met.
Cafth: (giggles) Of course, many beings laugh. It may also be possible that you have met a being
that looks similar to me and we do all laugh. I am sorry, but I don't recall having met you.
Heidi: I'm curious what you had seen when you met this being. Did it appear to look as Cafth
does? There is a special edition of Cafth drawn here.
#3: Bob asks Cafth:
Cafth,
Hello my friend...it's been a while (for me, at least). I hope you, and everyone around you,
is well and happy.
I am curious...does your species sleep? Do you dream?
Also, do you know what purpose sleep serves for us humans? Research suggests that it isn't purely
for the purpose of rest, and that actually, sleep sometimes isn't as *restful* as one might think. Apparently, it's the dreaming
part that is the most important: tests have shown that sleeping people not allowed to dream show the same symptoms of people
not having slept at all.
If you do sleep, is it for the same reasons as us?
Regards, b.
Cafth: Some beings sleep, some don't, I don't have to sleep but sometimes I do it just to relax.
And yes, we do dream. It all varies for different beings. But for myself, I don't get tired, but I like to relax sometimes.
But you humans sleep a lot, but I do understand your state of dreaming. They are kind of like
visions. Other beings sleep as humans do, because they get tired. If I opened the channel and gave you the information as
to why it is necessary to dream, it may be too deep.
But there are good reasons for it, without going too deep:
First a human body needs to be rested, secondly, your spirit needs to be free. Animals dream
too, do you then believe they have souls? But I'm sorry, there is more to this that I cannot go into details right now, but
I hope this helped answer some questions.
Heidi: Wow, I never asked him that one before...but it had crossed my mind...very very cool question...thanks
Bob.
