Richard Asks:
Hi Heidi,
I am curious and intrigued about the streetlight phenomenon, for it happens to me. Do you know
why this is happening?
Richard
Howdy Richard,
I am pretty certain about what you mean in saying the "streetlight phenomenon," but I'm not sure everyone
else reading this does. So for the folks who don't know here's a slight breakdown:
There are quite a few folks in this world that claim to somehow disrupt the functions of streetlights
of all sorts. It doesn't seem to matter if the person is walking or driving by, streetlights just seem to go off or dim when
they are near them. It's not the case for absolutely every streetlight, but it's often enough where people take notice of
it happening.
This is also a phenomenon that gets associated with people that have had alien encounters with positive
or negative beings. Some people attribute streetlight phenomenon happening due to alien implants placed by the Gray alien
beings, but I don't think it's so cut and dry where only abductees have this happening.
I too have had this happen for most of my life, and it's pretty hard to denounce if you continually
find yourself walking in the dark outside because of this happening. I don't consider myself as being a victim of the Gray
alien intrusions either, rather, I have had contact with kinder beings not so readily seen plastered in the media.
I have noticed when I am most anxious; whether happy or sad, is when it happens more often. But it's
not limited to just streetlights; computers and other electronic gadgets are not good to have near me either when I'm really
charged, as well.
Believe it or not, some folks have come up with a name for the phenomenon by calling people who do
this: SLIders = Street Light Interference (I like to say "Inhibitors"). I've personally noticed when this happens to me that
I sometimes feel more energetic, almost as if I sucked the poor streetlight dry. Since it's a fact that our body's possess
some kind of charge to it, perhaps some people are an opposite attracting energy like a magnet does. I wish I had a better
understand of science on this all, but I don't think science can always explain why our world gets freaky at times, either.
To read a site that tells more about this phenomenon and other people's stories you can go to the Weird
Science site at: http://www.amasci.com/weird/unusual/sli.html
I hope this helped!
